Hey, Turd Sandwich (AZNphoneGeek), signifcantly higher data speeds should be free! Why should I pay more for superior technology when I could go to Verizon and ATT and pay more for slower speeds? Cause all it really boils down to, is that chicks love a dude with an Iphone and an empty wallet...and no service.

Agree sublime I was wondering when someone was going to give that guy the keyboard lashing he deserved. Allways so pompus suckling from the Sprint teet, like he's so much better than us AT&T fanboys. My iPhone made me breakfast this morning and walked my dog plus I just got an app that makes sure my seats are reserved on the next shuttle to Saturn. Suck on that EVO!

no one said you have to add it on, you just go with the regular plan, it's only if you want the 4g use that the 10 dollars kick in.

I remeber them saying no new would plans would be neccessary, go ahead and punish your wallet/purse as a show of defiance by getting an Imagio w/Android A.K.A. Incredible

cum on sprint bring 4G to my area of los angeles.. i do not want to have to go to t-mobile for fast internet t-mobile has super fast web running at 21 mbps in los angeles.but its really expensive and it only has a limit of 5gb . i did a speed test on my sisters computer using the t-mobile web connect rocket and got 16 mbps up n 13 mbps down thats shockingly fast i downloaded all of madonnas sticky and sweet tour on HD from itunes in just seconds ... that is much faster than my time warner broad band connection at home running at 8 mbps ... so please hurry it up sprint ! cuz i dnt wanna go to t-mobile ...

wimax wont compare to LTE. not saying wimax is bad... but lte is probably going to make wimax look like edge. i wouldnt get too excited about it. although saying this makes me a gigantic hypocrite because im 100% for the EVO. but when comparing network speeds... lol im just listening to you. its like being so pumped to get dial up after having fios.

I'm glad somebody brought LTE up because, I woul really like to know what makes it so much better. Speeds are pretty much even with coverage, pricing and phones lacking but keep jock riding test

The $10 extra a month for a feature that isn't even available and there's no telling when will be available is pissing me off. Look Sprint has to get everything from the gate right on this and I think that's not how you get started. I can understand the Hotspot fee being that so many different devices can runs on it together but the (pay for a function that's not even available in your city has me shaking my head)

The 10 feature is optional(if you want to use 4G pay it) If not use the normal plans. This is the problem with our economy. Everybody wants shit for free.

No it is not - read this and on the same on FIERCEWIRELESS.com: "we were later told towards the end about the required $10 per month charge for the HTC EVO 4G – it's the price to pay for 4G connectivity. " REQUIRED, and it will be for all 4G phones.

Where I live, everyone but Sprint has 3g, why would I pay $10 for 4g when they don't even have 3g here ?!

Even though Sprint is requiring a $10 add on per line if you have the evo, Sprint has great retention offers, one of them being a $10 reaccuring bill credit each month.

So, the 4G 10.00 data feature is required for all 4G phones and then if I want to use Wi-Fi, it will cost another 30.00 - wow, I will have to rethink the purchase of this awesome phone. It will be cheaper for me to add a new line to my wife's account - 20.00 extra for the plan, 10.00 extra for messaging unl, and 30.00 extra(optional) for data with free Wi-Fi - and AT&T has way more hotspots than SPRINT.....bad move SPRINT...

So the data plan is optional on this device? The Incredible has the mandatory $29.99 email and web. Seems odd that it would be "optional" though....can't use a majority of the phones features without it?
