New West Lake Apple Store is christened in China as large crowd gathers

A couple of days ago, we showed you a video released by Apple to promote the new West Lake Apple Store in Hangzhou, China. The video showed Wang Dongling, an artist who specializes in calligraphy, decorating the company's new retail location. Saturday morning, the store had its grand opening and a huge throng appeared to get in on the festivities...

Look at the coment No1, Did anyone told him he is disrespectful? He just called millions of chinese people dumb simply because he doesn't like their choices.., And is considered normal in here simply because everyone seems to be against Apple, But as soon as an apple guy posts something crazy they all go and tell him he is disrespectful...

There are billions of Buddhists and Christians, and most, if not all, of them would place their religion higher than their phone, so comment number 1 isn't even on the same level.

Calling them dumb is stupid. If they love Apple, go for it. But you should know better and not be offended. When you compare a company to serious religion, it's disrespectful. Also I doubt the Apple fan doesn't like to be called a religion either.

Again, I completely disagree. I don't think my coment was disrespectful or extreme... I just believe my coment was a little misunderstood Before you acuse somebody about something is better to ask for an expletaion first. What I meant is that Apple is becoming very popular and there are many people who believe and trust this organisation.. Just like they do with religion. My coment on Christianity and Bhudiism was simply sarcastic and to be honest comparing my coment to what the 1st answer said I think his coment was 100 times worst than mine.. God is a point of view, many people say he doesn't exist... People are real though end they exist 100%.... Calling them dumb is much more harsh.. Don't try to make a big deal out of unimportant things, if my coment had involved Android instead of Apple Nobody would have a problem with it. But let's face it the real problem is That I am an Apple fan and peole don't like that in here.

Damn TM, that's a good post bro. Thought provoking to the max. What's your thoughts on God/religion? +100 BTW

I don't care if you're an Apple fan, most people know I don't care about that. And that is not the way how I read it, didn't even read your comment as sarcastic. Since most of the times you do express your love for Apple. As sarcasm, the comment was not disrespectful at all. My apologies to you for misreading your comment. And was it an Android person who said something like this, I would have commented as well. About the first comment, I guess stuff like that bothers me less (even when I am on the receiving end, as an Android user). Since I know better than that.

The real problem is that your pretending to be TimCook.. No problem with apple fans just you impersonator idiots (HugoBarraCyanogen thats you too) But leave God out of your random fanboy comments. It is roughly 2000 years too early for you to put a company over Religion...

Yeah I agree, be yourself. As to pretend to be TC, you earn the man disrespect where he may not deserve it.

You're right TM +1. I felt you're comment was a little extreme but not disrespectful. I feel I needed to clarify that.

Anyone that publicly celebrates a brand without getting paid is an idiot. Want to promote a brand? Demand payment.

other American company has opened up in our country selling us back our own stuff. First Wal-Mart now Apple. Think about how crazy that is. Apple and Wal-Mart buy and have most of their stuff made in China. They open retail stores and sell it back to the people that made it, and at a higher price. These people are just as dumb as many Americans. Just like them, we have better phones here in our own country, and people would rather by and overpriced toy. I've owned 2 iPhone and 2 iPad's and I just don't see what the fuss is. In fact I don't see the fuss over any device. But people go gaga googoo offer the poorest quality item sold.
