New Touch ID modules on Apple iPhone 7/7 Plus need to be recalibrated by the Apple Store

Back in February 2016, several Apple iPhone 6 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus owners saw their handset bricked after they attempted to install iOS 9.2.1. Thank you Apple for letting us rent phones from you! We promise we won't make it our own and fix it how we please!

I find Apples approach disgusting. You pay a fortune for a product then are forced to repair at an expensive dealer. Apples customer care sucks big time.

The US should have never tossed the case. You can literally list over a million products that get repaired by 3rd parties and not the original manufacturer. It's just Bs that PA doesn't want to call Apple out on. Think of the 2 most expensive things you will ever buy in life, a home or a car. In both cases many people use 3rd parties for repairs, because going original is just too costly. As long as the person is certified to do the repair their should not be an issue. It's not about naysayer, it's just fact. The US is a cocksmoothing pushover always being in bed with corps and making things difficult for consumers. If my button ever stops working Apple is going to fix it for free.

exactly thats the point. As long as the repair shop is certified ( thats easy to verify ) you are fine but problem is Apple dont offer the training or certification for obvious reason ( greed )
