Samsung did say to expect some mid-range devices when they start the roll out of Tizen. It's important to get the device in more people's hands first to try the new OS before releasing a high end device.

Sounds like what wp8 and Nokia have done. Besides the camera and some display tech, most of the other phone specs have been mid range. Now that more people have and are familiar with wp8, it's time to release a phone in competition with the high end of other OEM's like this years phablet.

Tizen is alive!. It will be interesting to see how it is received in the market against competition.

Alot of it's success will require marketing the hell out of it, much like the galaxy flagships.

No apps, no games, and last years hardware specs: sold off my Sammy Tizen, and bought a Nokia WP8 Lumia instead (boo yah!).
