So now you are concern that Android will stop to innovate due to the lack of competition from Apple. That's Epic Hypocrisy!

but what is android fans or should i say fandroids doing to the green robot is IDOLATRY!!! apple is actually doing what is right and just getting what is belongs to them... remember few years ago about apple vs microsoft patent wars? apple lost the war coz they didnt patent its tech very fast... microsoft did fast move and patents its tech (example, the powerpoint, it was a product of macintosh but bill gates patent it!) so apple is just protecting what they own... apple did warn samsung about the looks of the galaxy series... even google warn samsung...

The trouble is, this is what Sony did with the Betamax. They patented the whole process, so the VCR was developed. Betamax went the way of the dodo bird. If the patent process were as ridiculous then as it is now, the vcr would have never happened. Patent as follows; Rectangular object called a tape goes into larger rectangular machine, and produces video on a screen. And just like that the VCR although a technically inferior technology would have been banned. Lucky for us Sony was smarter with the blu ray system.
