Lol, i don't need no apple insider. I have my sources. Nobody said anything to me when everything i listed are already present in the ip7+ and the rest pretty much confirmed. I want u to show me proof of what u just said (of someone giving me a list of the ip8 features) if what you're saying is right. What i do remember ironically, is a guy telling me about some juicy note 8 features (all wrong btw) which i admittedly believed because i have no sources, his name is brasstax and as u can see, the note 8 will actually be the one to underwhelm. So get your facts right and stop spreading Bullsh*t. Do u really need to make up lies? I' so disappointed. *still waiting for your proof of that ip8 conversation btw*

He works in the samsung department store. Do you expect him to actually say something that will indicate any thing positive about apple. You should know by now how much of a asskisser he is by the way he started commenting in this site. Always whoring for samsung and always say negative stuff about other phones.

Same can be said about "Bankz" guy, only replace Samsung with Apple.

There is no fpscanner at the back. Could apple finally nailed the embedded fpscsnner at d front display? But why is thd power button elongated?

Looks like a slightly wider iPhone 7 with no bezel. Same shape, same overall look. Its looks nice, but not $1000.

"alleged" iPhone 8 has very thin bezels around its display, though we obviously can't call it a bezel-less handset" For one this is not set in stone that it is it. Also it is not bezel-less if it is according to the article.

Bezel-less as in less bezel, not bezel-less as in not having. The S8 has a bezel-less in that it hasess bezel than a previous generation model. But its not without a bezel.

Got what you are saying, I just don't call them bezel-less when they are not. Even my s8+ I won't call that. Thin bezels yes.

Not a same overall look. Its going back to the iPhone 4-5S days with glass back. and if you wanna say same shape, that pretty much applies to all smartphones now days, there isn't much to change with the shape. The S8 has the same shape as the S7, S6, S5, etc. But please, continue your dumb trolling, its what you do best.

Nice, but just not exciting, especially with iOS 11 being kinda disappointing. The iPads got all the new iOS 11 love. I can't wait to use it on my 12.9 Pro. That indentation at the top, and vertical camera, simply do not do it for me. Wowww Apple. I can't believe Apple didn't give the iPhone Split view Slide over Picture in picture Pencil support Themes New UI look At least it got Customizable control center Deeper control center integration. Sighhhhhhhhhhh.....

Dude check this. Lets be frank. Samsung released to special edition pjone. They had the ironman s6 and the Batman S7, where you got nice phone wjth a differ unique paint job, a match theme, matching accessories and more. What is Apple doing? Catching up to the S6? The AR seems cool. But just as lamr to me as VR. I played with the VR, and its lame to me. Im not evem paying $1000 now and most of what the special one is suppose to have, it just geels like a Pro-like version of what the 7S will be. Its mot even bigger than the Plus. Its just gonna haveess bezel and a mere .3mm difference in size. Wider vs taller. For a 10 year anniversary model, it seems lame. Imagine what the S10 or SX is gonna be like for its 10 year model.

I totally agree with you. I don't care about AR/VR either. It's cool to have in case, but my new gear vr with remote is still in the box, glad it was free. This is shaping up to be a dull 10th anniversary phone to me. iOS 11 was already pretty dull, and I've yet to see an iPhone render that looks good, other than the one that looks like the G6. I'm shocked, that Apple is basically using the same body, shrunk down as the 6&7 Plus. 18:9 is going to take over as it allows for even bigger screen, with much more one hand comfort, hope Apple goes 18:9. I'm just not excited for this. I'm even thinking of selling my 7 Plus, cause it doesn't really even come out the drawer anymore, and I'm not excited about putting iOS 11 on it, cause I won't really use it. I just like having a backup phone, and the iPhone is one helluva backup...let's be honest. All and all, I'm very let down by iOS 11 for the iPhone, and excited for it on the iPad, as it's gotten the better version since iOS 9. Apple still won't give us the real deal fun features on the iPhone, and that plain sucks. Note 8 looms, and I'm stoked for that bad ass device.

I always see you list of iPhome must haves. All i can say is, sin e you have a phone with thst already, what would be th3 point of having the same, just on iOS? If the IPhone the majority of the features the znote or S had, i would never buy a Galaxy. Now that i have what i want om the Galaxy, i dont care if the iPhone ever gets them. However the price needs to come down. If you are going ro charge me Galaxy S or Note pricing, then i want Galaxy S and Note features. The cost is for AR and this $100 display from Samsung. Apple has got to raise th3 costs to get high profits. They dont care thst its not worth $1000. Their logo makes it worth it. You see how the fans are now becoming hypocrites? Why should i pay more money for a device that basically catches up to an S6? If i hadnt paid $850 for rhe Note 7, i wouldnt have for the S8+. But i no regret with either. But the 869 i paid for my iPhone 7+, is certainly not worth it. I wish i did need it for work.

I'd still buy a galaxy, cause it looks better. As far as having an iPhone, I like having 2 phones from different platforms.

@darkk post 7: I agree with you that the iPad got more makeover with iOS 11 than iPhone. My fiancee wants an iPad pro and apple pencil, she is a art major. I will still stick with the iPhone as its simply my preference, I've tried many different android phones, and while the ones from samsung were my favorite, I simply just prefer iOS more. I am not really concerned about split view, pic n pic, pencil support, or slide over. I personally consider the screen of a phone just too small for watching a tiny video while doing something else, because your still not gonna focus well on that tiny video. I would have preferred the option of a darker UI tho. Unlike other ppl tho, I don't make it a habit of bashing other OEMS/phones and can accept ppl have other preferences. Certain ppl on here like techie cannot seem to accept that, and have to constantly bash Apple. If you have a different preference, fine. But bashing another company every single day in 95% of ur comments is ridiculous and nothing more than trolling and annoying.

Not bashing anyone, but I do spend good money on my products, and I will tell it like it is. Sorry you're annoyed, you shouldn't be as this is a tech site, full of opinions. As long as I spend my money on a product, I'll discuss it. Notice you never see me speak on LG or BB? In my view, speaking on that you don't purchase of bashing. Like the Apple fanboys that bash the S8, yet never touched one. As far as the features you're not concerned with, that's you and your money. I spend my own. I honestly couldn't care less, who I annoy here.

That looks pretty wide. Like a little tablet. No more one handed usage. That looks wider than the original Note. I think i prefer taller. Wonder whats gonna me the aspect ratio and resolution? Its not gonna be standard and lukely not QHD. I'm still sticking with something slightly above FHD. But below QHD. I wouldnt want bezel i side the display area. At least on other options, the black bar looks invisible with the small bezel and they never get in the fiell of view. And dual caneras look better horizontal vs vertical. I dont care what the reason it is for it. But that bump already sucks on present iPhone and they did nothing to make it smaller. Now everyone qho claims dual glass designs are a bad idea, which tbey are; are now gonna automatically start loving it. Welcome to 2014.

Weren't u the one saying u prefer the cameras to be placed vertically in the middle instead of horizontally? When there were news that samsung will go that rout? So now that samsung are certain to be using an horizotally orientation, you now prefer it all of a sudden? LMAO!!!

23. PrYmCHGOan

No what i did say, its better in the middle vertical, so if th3 phome wobbles, it will wobble equally to both sides vs being in the corner. I would prefer no dual camera at all. But i also realize the industry is mov8ng in this direction and potentially a phone i buy will have this crap too. So if it has to have it, implement it in a better way. On this phone its dumb b3cause its so big in one corner. Even though Samsung phones have always had bumps, at least its in the middle where the phone at least still sits much more flat and will wobble equally to one side. Its easier to type on it on a desk vs how my iPhone 7 is and now its gonna get worse. If you like it, good for you. Im not telling you to do otherwise.

Yeah that is one hell of a camera hump. It's going to wobble like mad when you try to use it on your desk. Solution. Put a case on it. The back isn't anything to write home about so there's no issue with covering it up. Not sure how well you can fit a case when you have a screen covering the entire front though.

It's all about the 18:9 ration now. 16:9, looks and feels blocky now.

No it's not. 18:9 is silly and will most likely disappear.
