Netflix support for Google Nest Hub and other smart displays coming soon

Netflix will soon add support for Google Nest Hub and other smart displays. The information comes directly from Google, and although it's not yet official, we're expecting an announcement pretty soon.

Despite the fact that Netflix is available on just about any platform that allows streaming, the Google Assistant smart displays were skipped for some reason. But that problem will soon be addressed, as the Netflix action for Google Assistant has just confirmed that it's compatible with smart displays, 9to5google reports.

Although Netflix can't yet be used on smart displays, if you have a Google Nest Hub or a different smart display with Google Assistant, you'll now see Netflix commands like “Next episode on Office Display” showing up in suggestions.

Of course, there's no way to tell when exactly Netflix support will come to Google Nest Hub and other smart display, but at least we know that it's surely coming.
