Nearly 2 million unlocked Apple iPhones now run on T-Mobile

0. phoneArena posted on 08 Jan 2013, 16:30

T-Mobile currently is the home to nearly 2 million Apple iPhone users and is adding them at a rate of 100,000 a month and in fact, back last month CEO John Legere sais that the carrier was hosting 1.7 million units which is a 200,000 jump in only 30 days; if T-Mobile can do this type of business with an unlocked model, imagine what will happen when the carrier starts selling the device later this year...

Don't worry about T-mobile they are doing just fine and the customers on t-mobile are enjoying there devices. Unlimited is sweet and the network is wonderful and fast it just works much better than Verizon and Ass t&t. We won't even talk about Sprint cause they are not even in the game....

Yeah, no.

T-Mobile is good. Not great, and certainly not better than Verizon and AT&T. In terms of prices, plans, and phones, yeah, maybe. But their network is a joke relative to the big two. Slower speeds, smaller footprint, less consistency.

To even put T-Mobile's network on par with Verizon's is ludicrous. Verizon, the company with the lowest drop call rate, largest 3G and 4G footprint.

Well, the HSPA+ is faster that AT&T's, but of course it varies depending on location. T-Mo's LTE probably won't have as wide coverage as AT&T or Verizon, but it'll certainly have speed on par with them if not faster. LTE Advanced coming soon...?

Here in New York City Verizon is a JOKE. T-mobile pimp slaps Verizon speeds, network hspa plus 42mpbs and battery life wise it's NO comparison. All devices on t-mobile work more consistant than Verizon devices. Please I left Verizon for T-mobile so I would know and had 2lines on Verizon they are nothing what people make them out to be. We won't even discuss handset updates or other things that go hand and hand with carriers. Verizon is drastically overrated.

same situation here. Verzion actually called me multiple time asking how their service was when I was with them last yr. Im still waiting their customer service to come fix my business cable and phone. So happy I got out of my contract to tmob.

I actually got a new phone nexus 4 after I notice iphone only get edge. Funny things is I pay for Unlimited data however did u know tmob shut my 3g data down after 2GB or usage? Im stuck with almost a whole month to go before I get a new month of 2GB 3g speed. So in a way unlimited is not unlimited. I have to agree its still better than Verizon, hated their customer service. At&t is just plain greedy. Sprint is not that bad, I heard. i mean they are the only other phone company with unlimited data and actually 3g unlimited. Too bad I need a phone with world compatibility and that left me with only tmob and at&t.
