NTT DoCoMo, Inc. is going to launch FOMA N902i a new cameraphone, developed and manufactured by NEC Corp. What is different about it is that its camera is equipped with electronic image stabilizer, which corrects the blur of a still image by using four instantaneously taken shots. This means that four still images are shot within the exposure time required to shoot one image only thus reducing the image blur caused by camera shake. Afterwards the four images are superimposed by carrying out a feature extraction processing for each image.
