As much as I think it's a great device. No doubt it's going to fail. The price is too high, it's ugly, and it does nothing special or out of the ordinary.

Exactly. I rather buy the iPad Air 2 or iPad Mini 3 compare to this Dell 8 7000.

Looks like you would rather buy protein powder and shirts with no sleeves.

Does Dell know most multimedia content is consumed in the landscape format? So.... Stereo.... On one side for the most part.

Yeah, kind of strange. The chin is best for portrait, and it's a 16:10 landscape oriented tablet. Odd.

Also for a phone the chin should be at the top So we dont have to stretch as much But for tablets I like big top/bottom bezel in portrait are good for holding in landscape, e.g like iPads bezels

I mostly use a tablet in landscape, so yeah, that bezel is a total deal breaker for me.

Really looks a lot like the Sharp Aquos Crystal. Impressive bezel size and depth.

$499 is too much for a 8.4'' Android tablet without LTE connection.

Seems the 'chin' is there for holding while the other 3 bezels are minimal, makes sense in portrait or landscape mode. I like what Dell is doing here and trying something slightly different but I agree the price would needs to drop a bit. I know what 7mm feels like, this 6.1mm will impressive in the hand.

Windows 8.1 would also be killer on this device

This Dell is a Weird looking tablet, In my opinion people at Dell should stop wasting their time making gimmicky products like this. The venue line of tablets they have is pretty good but I still think the Air2 is the king of Tablets.

Wow, the gigantic chin (bottom bezel) on this tablet is incredibly UGLY. What a major fail.

They should have called this "Project Helga". The big ass chin and that camera looks like a mole. On a phone a chin like that is ok, but on a tablet it looks really unproportional. Dual front speakers are a major plus and they should all have a top/ bottom bezel to house them. Or integrate them onto the edge like the ipad. Except on top and the bottom.
