I was getting excited about the idea of a 1440 screen, but 1080 is more than enough. That battery though, if that's accurate then I'm freakin excited! This is going to be my next phone for sure.

Oh moto, why did you build such an ugly phone with awesome specs. Do i hook up with the ugly chic tthat's a freak in the sheets or the hot model that doesn't like sex.

Well, most people just put them in cases so I say go with the ugly girl that's a freak in bed and just put a "bag" over her head. ;-)

You don't look at the mantelpiece when you're stoking the fire.

I actually think its gonna look great, especially that white and gold one, the g4 just doesn't do it for me, please make the camera decent and if they get clever with the fingerprint scanner they can keep the actual size of the phone down too, AND front-facing speakers......this might be a winner...and my 1st Motorola since the flip phone days lol

Those specs are spot on. I am ready to give up my note 4 for this.

Motorola just needs to get the camera right this time, and the new Moto X will be THE phone to get!

But let's not kid ourselves. The company with the worst camera tech for the last 10 years isn't releasing a phone that beats any one of the competition. They have only been saying that they are going to "change the game" for 3 years to no avail. You don't buy moto for the camera, you buy it for the battery efficiency and antenna quality.

Interesting, this would be the LG G4's prime arch rival (as they both pack the SD808), Camera and Battery Life are the only sore parts of the Moto X 2014, get them fixed and the G4 will get a run for its money

Old Moto phones had great design! Nowadays, they are pretty bad! Such curve type of design in good for small screen, but for larger screen it sucks! I hated Nexus 6, and I'll probably hate it too!

Displays not usable in the sun, not accurate either. No water proof. Battery won't best the S6 Active. I'll stay with the s6 active.

ticked all the right boxes so far. Let's see if Moto can get the power management further down pat.
