I love the idea of Republic wireless but I can't sign up for it because of Sprint's network.

I just left Sprint's network less than 2 weeks ago to get the LG G2 with T-mobile and the difference is HUGE.

I went from struggling to get a 3G signal to getting 4G or 4G LTE everywhere I go.

Where are you at? Sprint has 4G all over my area (DC), and I tend to get 3g in more places than my friends with AT&T and T-Mobile (even before roaming onto VZW).

To be fair, with that one $30 plan from T-Mobile, its basically as good as what you can get on Republic Wireless for the price.

This is what the Moto X should be on all carriers. Okay maybe $350 since it's still got some good specs, but no more. Right now Verizon has it listed as $450 off contract which is still too high.

Anywhere you have access to a wifi network: at home, mobile mifi, public wifi places such as malls, McDonalds, coffee shops, Burger King, Target, etc.

I am getting the $10 a month plan as a backup phone. I am going to send in my Moto Triumph and see if I can get the $100 gift card.

Im in Beaufort SC and just bought the black moto x because Verizon reception here on my galaxy nexus sucks. Im always connected to wifi at work and home and any relatives i visit, so the $10 a month option should work pretty good when im in the car traveling if needed.

Well, I have the defy - was thinking of doing this - but, I like to mod, and with this phone, it will not happen - while the 19.00 price tag is great - Sprint has hardly any 4G service out here and where I live I hardly get 3G as it is. Soooo, I am porting to T MO - and getting their 30.00 prepaid plan with a Nexus 5, and 5GB of 4G LTE, which is plenty for me - and I have better coverage out here with T-MO. But, still, for 25.00 a month and 299 no contract price, Republic has a good deal going here. And, you can get 100.00 back from Motorola by sending them your moto defy xt.

I switched to Republic Wireless a few months back from Verizon. They were killing me with the monthly charges. Around $120 a month. Verizon does have the best 4G coverage. I won’t deny that. I got the Republic plan for $25 a month. Unlimited calls, text and data with 3G. It doesn’t have the 4G on my plan. It takes a few seconds longer for the internet to load compared to Verizon. But for $100 a month savings its well worth it. If you get the 4G with Republic remember you might not have use of it except in large cities. Im completely happy with the plan I have. I have no dropped calls. It works great. Get the Moto X phone and not the Defy (it sucks). The Moto X rocks. Yes, you will have to pay $299 for the phone upfront but it pays for itself in a few months. Do the math and figure out your yearly cost compared with your current plan. I have a link that you can use to save $19 for the first month. Yes, it helps me with my bill too when you do. I won’t lie. For Christmas bonus my boss decided to let most of us go and I am unemployed. If you don’t like Republic, there is no contract. Just switch back. It is a great company. Here is the link. Cut and paste if it needed. Thanks!! http ://referrals.republicwireless.com/a/clk/1ymPvN
