I think this will be my first android phone since 2013. I'll probably get the white-gold version. I just hope they deliver the camera they promised.

That white and gold combination looks very nice. I'm excited about the battery and turbo charging, and that QHD screen looks beautiful with the small bezels.

As great as the phone physically looks, I'm disappointed that they went to TFT instead of cleaning up their AMOLED the way Samsung did.

I take this over a 1+ 2 but the note 5 or edge + kill them both doa, but not in price, good price for the motto x The 1+2 is junk, very bad buy, cheap crap

I mean the Moto X Style is reported to be $399. Although it'll probably be more to match the 64GB storage of the $389 OnePlus 2. Not sure who is buying the $329 16GB OnePlus 2 model :-S

Plus, you'd have a MicroSD card slot with Moto! The only thing left is if this one actually delivers. We all know OnePlus ain't joking with flagship killer. Hope this one isn't too.

I want the x-play battery on x-style

Me too! But 3000 mAh is more than enough to last me through the day. That and quick charging features make this an awesome phone for people on the go.

Meh. The oneplus two never stood a chance against the S6 and the G4 anyway. This one destroys the 1+2 though.

The Lumia 950 and 950xl will destroy the 1+2 as well.

I'm disappointed with Motorola, they should have stuck with one Moto X phone and gave some at least exciting features instead of the same spec bump we see every year.

I miss a new Mini. We have 100 5.5-devices but not a single 4.3

Moto Assist appears to be much more customizable than before, but I will agree with you, I would have liked to see something new. Still though, for us still using the 2013 Moto X, there's a lot to get excited about.

Just when 5.2inch was the sweet spot Motorola jumps on board with LG at 5.5inch and rumor that Sony Z5 will too. :(

That's the trend, larger and larger phones... I for one don't mind it, but I think that they would have done better to provide a larger gap in screen size between the Style and Play to accommodate those that prefer a smaller device.

pretty much this. Personally, I like the larger screen real-estate, but for the people who prefer the 5.2" screen, it's got to be a bit disappointing unless Moto manages to keep the phone dimensions identical.

yeah I stopped reading once I got to the 5.7" screen. Way too big for me, that's why the nexus 6 was the first Nexus I didn't buy. Price had nothing to do with it for me. 5.2" is the max I'll go, otherwise it's just a pain in the A** to fit in your pocket and use with one hand.

I'm with you here. I don't want a phablet. It's uncomfortable to hold, to put in pocket, everything.

Personally i would prefere between 4.5 and 5 inch.

Thats why most of people go Apple, they know a huge number of people want a great phone with small reasonable screen.
