But the holiday season! And the 820 devices won't be hitting us until early 2016. I'm willing to wait.

But why would anyone buy a phone with the 820 knowing that the 830 is coming down the road?

That would be funnier if the 810 weren't a throttle monster. Of course something better is always down the road, but every couple generations, a future-proof, stable solution like the SD800 appears.

Hopefully the sequel to the Droid Turbo (whatever it may be called) will also include expandable storage and OIS (or at least good digital image stabilization). Those are the 2 main reasons why I got the LG G3 over the Droid Turbo when I joined Verizon.

Its a Droid! So your hopes will be dashed shortly... Anybody remember the last droid to have SD card? The Razr M, Razr HD and the Razr HD Maxx did. I highly doubt the new Droids' will have them though as Verizon wants you to eat through your data plan with cloud based storage.... In other words: THESE ARE NOT THE DROIDS YOUR LOOKING FOR!!!

And what happened in the years 2013 and 2014? Oh, that's right. Google owned Motorola. And what is Google not a fan of? SD Cards! It was never a Verizon data plan/cloud storage issue. It was a Google issue. Hence the Moto X and Moto X 14 didn't have microSD slots either, even the unlocked versions.

But the Moto G & Moto E did have SD card support because of the lower storage capacities. Point being Droid's are strictly a Verizon affair that see a limited international release under a different name, we are not talking about an unlocked phone that will be available worldwide or even nationwide (US), so Ill be putting my money on: No it will not have an SD card reader & and storage options will range from 32GB & 64GB.

We'll see. I'm expecting it to be 32 & 64 GB but with microSD, because the international versions will have it. Ditto the Maxx 2. If not, that could push me over to the Moto X Pure.

Waiting is all fine and good. I just saying don't get your hopes up. Then again I could be wrong. To me SD card readers don't matter, but then again I got me some of that sweet Unlimited Data going on....

Can't go lower than 5.7" display AND this won't have an SD slot. Gonna see if I can get my hands on the Pure or just get the Edge+.

But the edge+ don't have expansion slot either!

Why won't this have an SD slot? All the other Moto phones this year have one.
