Motorola Entice W766 is now official by Verizon, available for $40
Just as it was expected, Verizon has now officially announced the availability of the Motorola Entice W766. Advertised as a “pocket-friendly” device, the W755’s replacement is a classic clamshell, utilizing a 2.2-inch main screen with a resolution of 176x220 pixels. The Entice W766 is available online now for $39.99 with a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate. Verizon Wireless stores should have the handset later this month.

Other features you will get are a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth with A2DP, A-GPS, 3G and microSD card slot for additional storage space of up to 8 GB.

And of course, it is NOT available for prepaid users unlike the previous version. So in about 2 years every single phone that verizon offers will be off limits to prepaid users. So you can pay for prepaid service but no phone will be available, so you can walk around with the imitation dummy phones that vzw will make available for prepaid users. I have prepaid verizon and I love it, but I hate the restrictive phone selection.

It has dashboard, which like HTML Browser makes it off limits to prepaid users.
