It is GSM if it's using LTE guys. And unfortunately the droid line up is carrier exclusive to Verizon

Aren't all Verizon droids unlocked? My DNA and my RAZR HD are unlocked and I've used them to ATT

I think iphone is better. I don't uderstand Motorola (Google) company strategy. They would sell this phone in milions if it were international. Maybe there will be Nexus 5 (2014) based on this phone.

Don't know if you're being sarcastic or not. The deal hasn't cleared the regulators yet. It most likely will, but it's not there yet.

32 gb? No Micro SD?!? Useless. When will they learn...?

There's a 64gb version right? Proof read.

Yrs, if you like kevlar. Which I don't. 'Cause I don't want to look like some sad Vin Diesel wannabe. In any case, with 61 gb worth of music 64 gb won't suffice either... :-)

The 64GB version only comes in ballistic nylon, not Kevlar. Try reading it again.

That ballistic nylon look is sharp. *Wiping drool from chin* Take my money, Verizon!

Oh boy, just checked this out with a bit attention, this is a beast, Motorola is dumb as f*ck to not release this internationally, it will sell in millions if marketed right for sure.

They already filed for a GSM variant of it under the name Moto Maxx I'm pretty sure.

Hey, Did Someone hear about the ATT version of this phone (Moto X Play) being the same exact phone except for having buttons like the Nexus 6 being the only difference between the ATT version and the Verizon version?

Overall a good phone but one thing that pauses me is why is this 1cm + thick? :/

Because it has a big battery and only a 5.2" footprint to work with?

I'm from Brazil, and on November 5, Motorola launched the international version of the Droid Turbo here (forgive me my English, I used google translator)

Is Droid Turbo really has 565ppi screen with pentile matrix amoled? n Nexus 6 or Note 4 QHD in this case? According to anandtech.com amoled pentile QHD screens has only 20% more pixels then RGB FHD LCD displays compare to RGB QHD LCDs which have 80% more pixels then RGB FHD LCDs. Im really confused. Any one knows actually what it is?

"The Motorola DROID Turbo is not a beautiful object"? Really? In my opinion, this looks better than any other flagship phone.

Four reasons I can't bring myself to get it. A) No IR blaster. Shame too. B) Not "waterproof" enough. No, I don't plan on dunking it, but if it accidentally happens, I would rather the "spec" be there. C) No mSD D) Locked BL. I can "live without" the last two or three if it at least had A. But that is the primary deal breaker. (Anyone with a female in the house should know what I mean about A)
