Motorola DROID RAZR hits Verizon's system chock full of big time specs

What upcoming thin LTE enabled handset has just hit Verizon's equipment infocenter? That's right, it is the Motorola DROID RAZR and plenty of Verizon customers with an update to burn can't decide between this and the Samsung GALAXY Nexus...

Using your same crappy comets lets say apple is copying android because it has dual core. or because it added mirroring to TV

The Nexus S didn't have an SD card slot either. And due to the designs of these phones (Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus being severely curved, DROID Razr being extremely thin and water resistant) the omissions might have been necessary. If they were seeking to "copy" the iPhone, EVERY FU.CKING NEW PHONE WOULD COME OUT WITH BOTH OMISSIONS. But we aren't seeing that, are we? No. Stop with the paranoia.

People it will probably work like the HTC Rhyme and any other android without removable batteries. Hold power for 10 seconds (similar to pc's hardstops) and it turns off regardless of state. The only thing wrong with non removable batteries is no option to expand with a second or extended battery. I have a charger at my desk so I'm fine with it but I could see if I didn't how frustrating it could be. That being said it shouldn't be a big deal for most people.

One phone does it while 500 still have removable batteries. Wow you are an idiot.

You'll get thumbed down because facts aren't important to you. You just want to come in here and make trouble. We still list the non removable battery as a gripe, but by itself some of us consider it a manageable one. We consider it to be a reasonable sacrifice in order to have a phone that awesome. The inability to pull/change the battery has only been one out of a list of problems we have with the iPhone, and the combination of those factors is why we won't buy. Furthermore, are you s**tting me with the whole assertation that Motorola is by necessity "copying" Apple by sealing the battery in? Are you really going to tell me that no other device before the iPhone had a non removable battery? The reasoning can't somehow be that 1) Motorola had to make the design choice to slim the phone down and 2) they made the choice to protect the battery better against water damage?

Sniggly you have to remember this is the same moron who thinks if a phone comes in black and white its copying apple. So I'm not at all surprised this moron is once again going on making stupid claims. That's one sheep I wish would be taken to the apple slaughter house already.

It really is amazing how quickly Gallito switched over to being a self entitled, trolling jerk the moment he started getting iDevices. I mean, he's had his 4S about what, a week now? He's pretty new to the iCult. And yet he acts like a lifelong member.

ohhh you guys should hold hands... hmmm rory... is one phone.. but not being able to remove the battery is the future... so I might be an idiot but at least i am not a dumbass that bought a phone that is worth 100.00 less in a 2 weeks span..... Sniggly... wow that was very thoughtful... you have been trolling Apple articles longer than I have been a member.. so your point really is??....

That you became an insufferable douche in record time? I'm serious. You were a pretty nice guy before you started buying iProducts. Then you get an iPad and suddenly every post of yours is some kind of inflammatory nonsense that sounds like it was beaten out of you by the Bulls**t Monster. Now you have an iPhone and you're even worse. You blamed "Android trolls" for your change of heart, but your behavior is not justified by this. You'll recall that there was a time when I asked you, very nicely, to stop being a jerk at least. You ignored that. So here we are. You keep being an ass, and I'll keep calling you out.

I get what he is attempting to convey to us....but, like many pro-apple people, they are wrong as usual. APPLE does not have a removable battery because they want to screw 3rd parties. Moto did it with the RAZR due to design. Either way, I, as in moi, do not like it. At least I can buy a 32GB card and not get screwed like everyone buying the 32GB/64GB is.

or the fact that we cant make sense of your nonsensical rants that are not based in reality, nor do they hold any semblance of proper punctuation so we can read it. Unless your goal is to sound like a brain washed william shatner impersonator, you should try at least some minor puctuation.

Dude how can you be so stupid to say Android copied apple. Hey since you have the 4S how is that notification system treating you? Seems pretty damn familiar to me. Being able to swipe it down from the top of my screen to the bottom, displaying the notifications. Yes very familiar indeed.

The execution of the notification bar on the iPhone isn't even as good as Android's. Sure, the stock ticker is okay, but it's harder to "grab" the bar than on Android to pull it down, and there is no obvious indicator that there are notifications in the bar when it's collapsed, much less what those notifications might be.

For me, I was all about this phone until I heard about the non removable battery. A single battery has only so many cycles it can run before it fades. It also means you must care for your battery by fully charging and almost fully depleting it or it detracts from it's memory. I buy a new battery every three months now, imagine me with this phone after 6 mos. The other factor which is equally important, ICS will be coming out yes, but it won't be like the baked in ware like nexus. It's a proven fact that MAJOR OTA upgrades are buggy. ICS is a completely different OS than 2.3.5. I figure it took two months for the RAZOR to come out after the bionic, I am sure the same thing will happen with them again. If you can sit on your hands a bit more, and if your like me that waited for the bionic but passed, just hang in there just a few more months, I know your itchy to get the latest and greatest, I'm just saying based on the ICS not baked in, no access to batteries, I'd wait. Also maybe they will figure out how to get rid of that camera hump! I don't see anyone else with a camera hump. I feel for the bionic owners...

True, I have had my captivate for 15 mnths now and the battery still gives me anywhere from 12-36 hrs if use, depending on what I am doing. I was thinking of buying an extended battery for the next phone I buy, and will probably get a SGS2, if still with AT&T.

To be fair you won't get more than 3-6 hours on an android.
