Moto X4 with Android 9 Pie is $80 off at Amazon, priced at $130
If you're looking for a cheap phone for the kiddies, or need a second phone on hand for one reason or another, you are going to be hard pressed to find a better deal than this one. Spotted by Android Police, the Prime Exclusive version of the 32GB Motorola Moto X4 is available for $129.99 at Amazon. That is an $80 or 38% discount off of the e-tailer's usual price of $209.99.

For the $129.99, you're getting a handset powered by the Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform, equipped with 3GB of memory and a 3000mAh battery. The 5.2-inch LCD screen carries a  resolution of 1080 x 1920 (FHD) and is not only small compared to today's massive displays, but it also has an old-school aspect ratio of 16:9. That means that you are not getting a device with one of those tall and thin edge-to-edge screens. There is a dual-camera setup on back (12MP primary and 8MP ultra-wide) and a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper with flash. And in case you were concerned, with the Moto X4, you can shoot portraits with the blurred background bokeh effect.

Unlike most Moto phones, which sport protection from light rain and spills thanks to P2i's nanocoating, the Moto X4 carries an IP68 rating. This means that the handset is protected from dust and can be submerged in up to nearly 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes.

Originally launched with Android Nougat 7.1 pre-installed, the Moto X4 has since been updated to Android 8 Oreo and Android 9 Pie. The colors available are Sterling Blue and Super Black.
