Moto X+1 benchmark pass reveals 5.2'' display, Snapdragon 800 processor

Rumors and leaks related to the Motorola Moto X have been fairly abundant, but it's been hard so far to piece together a more thorough expectation of the type of hardware that will be packed into the next Motorola flagship. A device with model number XT1097, believed to be the Moto X+1, made an appearance on Geekbench, and put doubts that the Moto X+1 will stick to an older, Snapdragon 800 processor to bed. As it turns out, however, there's still some mystery left over...

801 is just an overclocked 800, so fail for 801, but it would be great if they added an 805.

But the extra 100ghz helps the gpu to play more complex games and push more pixels.

Everything is top notch here except the 5.2" display. They didn't keep 4.7 and moved to 5, I was like "wtf, okay we'll see", Now thats freakin' staggering 5.2" display, that's way too far and beyond ergonomics meter, no matter how much they trim the bezels. I hope this turns out DROID MAXX successor instead.

I dunno man. The Galaxy S4 was fine with a 5 inch display, and that had to leave space at the bottom for physical buttons. I think the 5.2 incher will be fine. I would suggest at least reserving judgement until we see the phone in the flesh.

Wait, the Xperia Z2/LG G2 were not mocked for their 5.2 inch displays, yet the Moto Shamu and the X+1 were said "Why have a 5.2 inch display?" we'll see if it will be like the G3 like it had a 5.5 inch display in a 5 inch body.

So... The rumors that the new Motorola flagship will have processor X have been "put to bed" by the fact that it will indeed have said processor? Do you even know what "put to bed" means in this context? Appalling.
