More than half of Android devices are powered by Jelly Bean

The latest figures are out and they reveal that more than half of all Android devices are powered by the Jelly Bean build of the OS; this includes Android 4.1.x to Android 4.3. The entire range of Jelly Bean flavored Android models now makes up 52.1% of the platform's population. Gingerbread, which covers Android 2.3.3 to 2.3.7, is next with a 26.3% share of Android models...

Stop rubbing the salt in the wound. The reason why JB is in more than half of the total Android devices, it's because JB consists of 4.1, 4.2, 4.3. Yes. 3 VERSIONS. while ICS only has 4.0.x, GB has 2.3.x, and Froyo has 2.2.x. Hope you figured that put and I am happy with my ICS device. it's my daily runner

Do you really think Manufacturers will update old phones with 512 mb ram to android 4.4?
