To the numerous questions about the lack of a microSD card slot, HTC USA has posted on Facebook the following answer, which seems to have been subsequently pulled: "HTC USA U.S. customers have easy access to cloud storage solutions through Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network and ample access to Wi-Fi. This fact was balanced with the desire to make DROID DNA as slender as possible with an incredible 5-inch HD screen..."

Whats also wild....is how many ppl do they think wants to use their data plan for everything? Everyone doesnt have unlimited data.

Wifi is amply available....and yet I have never found a place that I could access it during my daily routine. I might can with AT&T...but I have phone service on Verizon. (I have a PS Vita so I use AT&T data for that)

That response was a pure cop out and insulting to our intelligence.

Okay HTC, you might be right in not having micro sd slot in device for the aesthetic of device, but what in the world stopped you from putting 32 or 64 GB internal

i agree, they would have had me at ok with a 32gb internal no expansion, 16gb is really restrictive and for 199.99 they are just doing it to match apple now. someone will do the teardown for this phone and find out how to get more storage in it. at least i hope.

LOL...WifI is not "amply available". if it were, people would not be jumping bridges over losing unlimited data. I live in Kansas city, and in my daily routine, I there is no "WiFi" available accept at my house. HTC, you have lost another customer. hello, motorola!!

2013 will be a year full of surprises and one of the most anticipated events in 2013 is the unveiling of HTC most prominent smartphone, the M7 or HTC one.
