Mobile ESPN cuts down the price of its only handset

Two months after its official launch the MVNO, targeting the sports fans – Mobile ESPN – has significantly lowered the price of the only handset it offers. The specially designed Sanyo MVP, based on the Sanyo MM-9000, was initially available for the price of $499. Now it is offered for as low as $99 and will be sold at this price "while supplies last”. It was also reported that a new handset is planned to be released this coming June. Other models are expected to follow by the end of this year as was previously announced at the time of the launch. There's no information on the models or the price. The prices of the plans, which vary from $34.99 for 100 minutes a month to $224.99 for 4000 minutes a month, remain unchanged.
