I thought they were going to ditch the tile interface.
Most stores i see, have kicked the tile interface and installed something much less frustrating, on the demo device.
Looks like they haven't learnt their lesson.
...Or they want to give Android a bad image.

That's exactly what they want.

I'm using WP8.1 on my L1520, and it's wonderful.. I'm having a hard time thinking of how it's bad... From your experience using WP8.1 on a daily basis what has led you to believe it's bad? Just asking.

What?, that's what you got from this WP is bad. Maybe you haven't been looking around you as of late but everybody is WP flat UI. Its a trendsetter not bad.

...WP flat? you must be joking
WP didn't own flat, WP is flat, other also starting the flat things, but the tiles flat is bad

WP was the first to implement flat UI within mobile software the others have stopped doing Skeuomorphism and followed WP trend.

WebOS had a flat UI. That was out before the Windows Phone OS came out. So does that mean MS copied the WebOS UI?

The Viruses, instability, lagging etc that have plagued Android for years didn't?.

The viruses? lol
Never had one never even seen or heard of anyone with a legitamate virus on their Android phone. Instability & lag (Earlier Sense & Touchwiz, I'll give you that) are becoming a thing of the past. Especially instability. Haven't seen much, if any, instability on an Android phone since 4.1 Jellybean. But since you use WP an not Android, I could see how you're still spouting off things of the distant past.

Android Virus problems are well known, that's one of the pitfalls of an Open source OS.

Don't get me wrong Android is a great OS in its own way but like any platform opened or closed its has it downsides.

Because Linux is a minefield of viruses and Windows is a safe haven of safety.

Ohwaitno, that's a little backwards, isn't it?

I don't think they trying to give android the bad image, but
1. they trying to spread the idea that "TILES IS COOL, TILES IS THE FUTURE".
2. they don't want their android offering better than lumia. it would be disastrous for them if the nokia X series sell more than the lumia, and eating lumia cake
