Microsoft says update to Windows 10 Mobile is coming soon

If you're not a Windows Insider, the prospect of updating your Windows Phone 8.1 powered handset to Windows 10 Mobile probably has you excited at the thought of running a brand new OS on the unit. Back in October, it appeared as though the update would take place in December. By last month, it was clear that Windows 10 Mobile wouldn't see the light of day until early 2016...

I work for a carrier, many things cause missed calls and missed sms. Did you know right now, a google/Samsung update bricked calls/sms from getting to the phones, s6 and s6 edges some note 5's. Did you know this has gone on for weeks. It took weeks to find out it was VoLTE and still no fix yet. Did you know LG released an update that also bricked sms/calls. Took again weeks. Did you know there was an S3 update that bricked calls to the point the carrier literally denied warranty exchanges and told customers to deal with it...only fix was to constantly flush the cache from the phone app (eventually fixed took over 3 months). HTC got hit with a google newsstand update that bricked calls/sms. Google had an update that made LG's useless and keeps causing google search to crash upon any app event, like going into settings. The list is so long its funny. Seriously, you want verifiable issues, come do my job. After doing my job seeing people on android is like self torture. I joke about it, but there is a reason my team has willingly slowly went away from android, there is die hard users on both ends, but the ones that 'flow' with it...usually end up with an apple device. Right now we have a tech who is on his 7th android, he is fed up and going with apple, and it is not one android device he has had a nexus 6, note 4, HTC m8/m9, Z1s, z3, he just ordered an iPhone 6s. Why? because of the 15 apple phones in our team, not a single one has issues. I tried windows, but he needs some apps we simply don't have.

I'm going to give it another try btw I know of a few people who've had issues with iPhones ,I just want to have my phone working properly so I can enjoy using it I can't download with tube mp3 downloader and with uc browser things that didn't happen in windows 8 you must agree the a flagship should not have these and all the other previously mentioned issues ( screen freeze, random reboots notification issues amongst others) and if so should've been addressed with a phone update ,also tried my wife's iPhone6,nice device but not my cuppa tea I will be sending it to be seen and replaced if necessary with the same product anyway let's see how it goes.

I agree, but other OSs have had their issues, too, I am the one that has to deal with all new growing pains when 4.4 hit, when 5.0 hit when 6.0 hit, when ios 9 hit (still has issues). As a side note, it is not my job to make fun of people who don't use windows etc, I just the need to kinda point out that its not solely on the device. And that no OS is free of what you describe, especially Android in the last 6 months dealing with the exact issue you call making it useless...on my carrier that is.

Having regard to what you've explained I contacted the shop I purchased the phone they have agreed I try the phone for a couple of weeks and if it's software related it should be addressed by subsequent updates in the event of just being a faulty device they would get it sent to Microsoft and get it replaced if need be with a same device. Thanks for your insight into these issues.
