Microsoft clarifies comment on wanting fewer WM phones
Just the other day, we reported the head shaking comments from Microsoft VP for Windows Mobile Todd Peters that the company wanted to reduce the number of cellphones using the firms' WinMo software. Backpeddling faster than a NFL defensive back, the boys from Redmond declared that Peters was merely saying that with the company working more with their partners to ensure the best integration of software and hardware, that might result in fewer phone models using the Windows Mobile platform. Microsoft also went on to say that they are always working on new versions of the OS and focusing on quality. Was this actually a correction at all, or does it all sound the same?
