The surface pro will not be for everybody but there are still People who want a tablet that they can use to occasionally run full featured PC Desktop/Laptop on to do serious work or play a PC game on. Lenovo, Dell , HP, and Samsung have cheaper Windows 8 and Windows 8 pro tablets for sale out there. The built in kick stand and design of the Microsoft "Surface RT'' I saw on sale and used a little at staples was really cool and it has MS Office software on it too so you can do something with it right out of the box. it has Netflix and Hula plus for TV and Movie viewing and other interesting Apps. if you do not have use full featured Desktop/laptop software it's not a bad tablet. the "Surface pro" is for People who do want to use full featured PC desktop/laptop software on a Tablet but they must understand that they will have use a mouse and keyboard to use windows 7, Vista, XP and windows 2000 and NT programs which were not designed to be used on a touch screen.because it's awkward to try to run them with a finger.
