Microsoft SkyDrive cloud storage platform hits 250 million users
Microsoft’s cloud storage system SkyDrive has hit 250 million users after a huge 50 million user surge that came with the release of Windows 8. SkyDrive is now the default save location for Office documents, and it’s clear that the cloud service is a focus over at Microsoft.

At the same time Microsoft reports it has a whopping 700 million accounts and mentions how it improved security via two step verification for accounts.

SkyDrive was a bit late to the cloud storage service launch party, but with so many Windows users it is picking up pace quickly. Here is a neat infographic showing the capabilities of SkyDrive right below.

Love it .. been using it since its first interation back in the windows mobile days. Keeps getting better and better. I also got that free 25gb upgrade not too long ago, was a good deal! Never has it failed me and pretty much use it on all my devices that it can be on.
