We expected to see the
Motorola VE440 in the product catalogue of Verizon or Sprint, but its first stop on the way to the market proved to be MetroPCS that now offers the handset for $129. What you would get is an affordable, music oriented cell phone with design that reminds of the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic that is currently available through T-Mobile US. Similarly, the Motorola VE440 sports audio player control buttons, 3.5mm jack and microSD slot, the differences being an inferior camera, equipped with
1.3 and not 2-megapixel sensor and smaller display that measures 1.9 inches and comes with lower native resolution of 176х220 pixels. The handset, however, features GPS and supports the chatLINK service of MetroPCS. A comprehensive comparison of the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic and Motorola VE440 can be found
