Mega Man Mobile receives minor update, majority of glaring issues remain untouched

The atrocious Mega Man Mobile has received an update that fixes one of the many problems the game has, but don't hold your breath for any other substantial improvements to the overall experience.

Apparently, the new update improves the responsiveness of the virtual d-pad. This means that your input will actually register more often than not! Hooray, we guess? Now all that Capcom has to do is fix the truckload of bugs, performance issues, and audio glitches that are plaguing Mega Man Mobile. Seeing as how the last update addresses only one of the many issues, the entire process could take upwards of a decade.

If you want to know just how bad the game is, check out our review of Mega Man Mobile.

I suspect that Capcom is doing emulation in this one.

It's actually neither an emulated version of the original, nor a port per se. It has been written from scratch by using resources available online, because Capcom apparently doesn't have any of the original assets anymore. That's what the main programmer of the project claims, at least.
