Display should be a treat. Would have loved to see changes made to the way, you move/transfer files using BT.

Mateo... Sprint has HTC? Same with EVERY other Carrier... T-Mobile has Google? So does EVERY other Carrier... HTC uses Google (Android). Getting things mixed up? I'm not sure where you are getting at...?

Just saying i'm hearing alot of people from other carriers mostly downing the iphone since the begginning of time so why bring it to other carriers. Most people say whatever top selling phone that they have for their service provider hence htc evo, motorola driod they all say it is better than the iphone.

Why bring the iPhone to other carriers? How about why not bring it to other carriers?

It is better then the iphone... two words OPEN SOURCE and no restriction bullshit with what you can do with your phone... the android os has the same capabilities as the iphone and many many more.. with an android phone you can use any format files, use any applications, the bluetooth has no restrictions, and you can do real multitasking... not to mention now you can do video chat with your android on the network... If you all want to pay for a phone that restricts your capabilites then go for an iphone... if your looking for a phone that gives you free reign to its capabilities go with an android based OS!!!

Haha you fanboys and your restrictive reasons. I've experienced both an iPhone and a Android (currently on the N1 with Froyo). Still, hands down, an iPhone is the best phone for a universal amount of work with a smartphone. Android is too complicated for many people. I have friends who got 2.1 updates through Verizon and still don't have icons on all the screen because they have really don't know how to do it. And real multitasking? Apple is giving application users the option to do real time multitasking or pausing. You're clearly misreading your information. Also to add, Android is open source, but all the bullshit apps out there make it useless. And on top of that, if you want to mess around with the phone, just as you would with an iPhone, you have to jailbreak it/root it. They are basically the same thing except Android decides to put a little lock on the front of the screen and really screw you out of your warranty. You say many many more, but that majority of many is poorly made and useless to many many people. Recommendation: Buy an iPhone, unless you own an iPad or iPod Touch so you can at least have the app store

what's so great about Apple's app store over Android's? Just because Apple can boast an inflated number like 170,000 or something doesn't mean it's any better. Android also has tens of thousands of apps, and if you wanna talk about bullshit apps, look at Apple, pumping out 100k plus apps just for the numbers and not necessarily to be useful. You can't even use all the apps available from the app store, you maybe use like 50-100 apps, maybe up to 250 if you are obsessed with your iPhone and worship it 24-7. So what's the use of having so many apps other than boasting who has the bigger manhood?

No game changer here. Wifi video call & can only call to iphone is as good as not having it. Apple expects the whole world to use iphone. Is it? Still no transferring of songs, photos & video clip via bluetooth. Battery cannot be removed. No external memory card. Now using mini SIM card. Is that another way to tie up iphone users?

"The thing is that the stainless steel frame will actually serve as an antenna! Say goodbye to poor reception on the iPhone" Really? do we need to take tech 101? what are you never supposed to do with your antenna? cover it with your hand. And what will you do every time you hold the phone up to your ear during a call? cover about 70% of the antenna. And what does that do? makes your phone work harder. Causing? battery drain. And lastly kids, does having the worlds biggest antenna help if the network doesn't? i think we know that answer As for the rest: Impressive screen resolution and great video conferencing feature. Anyone unbiased knows the rest is simpley playing catch up to the EVO & Incredible This release could have been a reset button that made everyone forget that Android is growing 7% a year and Windows 7 is being released. Instead they have to offer early upgrades to EVERYONE that's eligable in 2010 to make sure it's a blockbuster

7 % growth seems pretty weak considering that Android Devices are running on all 4 major Networks in the U.S and new Android phones are being released what seems like every other day to the point of overkill and overexposure and that the while at the same time the iphone runs on only one network and produces what? One phone every couple of years? Yep, 7 % is real impressive.....lol I'm not an iphone lover or hate. I don't even own ANY Apple products. Maybe thats why I can give it up to Apple for making products that the masses seem to want more than it wants the cometition's products. Theres no shame in admitting that.

yeah 7% doesn't seem so weak when you realize that it is total market share and not % of new phone sales and you compare it to Apple's total market share. Wait, what's that that was reported earlier? Android has a higher share of US sales than Apple? Whoops jpropin! http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/Android-climbing-as-it-jets-pass-Apple-in-the-US-smartphone-mark et-for-Q1-2010-article-a_11223.html "According to The NPD Group, Android is resting healthy at 28 percent market share and was able to overtake Apple who is now sitting in third place at 21 percent." Lest you cite that this is only new sales and does not represent the total market share we have for reference: http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/Android-market-share-soars-600-in-12-months-article-a_11414.html "According to analytics firm Gartner, from the first quarter of 2009 to the first quarter of 2010, Android's slice of the smartphone pie has risen from 1.6% to 9.6%. That is an impressive 600% increase year-over-year and has Google's open source OS closing in on the iPhone's 15.4% market share. Android is growing it's share faster than Apple and could leapfrog the iPhone by this time next year."

Android has like a million phones out. Of course it is going to eventually pass Apple, duh! And just to throw this in... "Then we get cold hard numbers like these -- showing iPhone OS owning 28 percent of the US smartphone market and closing in on RIM's leading 35 percent -- and we face up to the realization that Android handsets still account for less than one in every ten smartphones owned by Americans today." - Engadget

3GS will be 149 for 16GB and 199 for 32GB - 99.00 is for 3GS 8GB model - but who wants an 8GB model?? The only thing I wish was improved was storgae capacity - they should have gone with 32GB and 64GB, because of the iBOOKS and iMOVIES....

http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/07/iphone-4-vs-the-smartphone-elite-evo-4g-n8-pre-plus-and-hd2/ That's a better link since the winner of each category is highlighted. I'm not saying don't buy the EVO, but don't put too much emphasis on the EVO's 8 megapixel camera. Even though the iphone has only 5 megapixels, it has 720p at 30fps video while the EVO only has 24fps (not much difference though but the iphone clearly wins in that area). Megapixels just means larger pictures. That doesn't necessarily mean the quality is going to be better/clearer. Just saying.

GALAXY S does not have 2 cameras or flash - at least per the specs listed here - wait until a US network grabs it officially.....EVO looks to be a tad better...and I heard SPRINT is ok.

HA HA your such a funny guy, it was an issue with wifi ass!!! If you would have read a little further he asked all to log off wifi. Would happened as well will VZ. Did I mention you are an ass. I am so glad VZ got snubbed yet again. Not because I have anything against them but just because of all the BS that's spoken on this site which are mostly VZ emloyees. You guys mine as well take the 24th off cause it won't be like you guys will be busy or anything. And no I don't work for AT&T either.

The funny part is At&t has the largest wifi hotspot network too so vzw customer using wifi are usually relying on at&t. Owned.
