Meet Atlas - a fresh Android browser with dual-view mode and Material Design interface

0. phoneArena posted on 01 Aug 2014, 04:57

Atlas is already future-proof, as it sports the new Material Design interface of Google, meaning that it will blend in perfectly with Android's upcoming version update. The UI is actually out of the way when you browse, leaving you with the full screen real estate at your disposal. To top it off, the new browser has a handy dual-view mode that splits the screen in two, and lets you interact with two websites at once, similar to what Samsung and LG's interfaces are offering on a systemwide basis. In addition, the browser offers a comfortable to use slide-out Control Panel where you can quickly switch between desktop and mobile views, or choose "HI-FI" (full) and "LO-FI" (JavaScript-free) browsing, depending on the website at hand...

I love the UI!
This has the potential to become my favorite browser, all in the wonderfully tiny app size. Thanks PA

I hope it has a setting for automatic cookie-destruction on exit ... site-specific would be even better.
