Pisses me off that all the reviews say this game sucks, damn it I was looking forward to this s**t and now I'm just sad. I'll buy it used a couple months from now and play it anyway since I'm a mass effect fan, not to mention all the bugs will likely be fixed by then.

Those reviews are way too linear and view driven to be worth anything. This is just my opinion, but after playing it on EA access, it's low-key pretty good. Is it $60 good? Nah. But wait till it's on sale.

My review: f**k yeah on a discount..... out of 10.

I took the review with a grain of salt because a lot of the things they complained about can be fixed with updates but I can't help but think they have to be right about it not living up to the mass effect name. It will no doubt be better to me than the reviews make it out to be, I'm just not expecting to love it like I did the other ME games.

I like your review lol, I hope I feel the same.

I think the new mass effect will not live up to the former titles because the big goal and story is missing. It is not about saving earth before a very powerful enemy anymore. The new title sounds like conflicts in colonies. Not so attracting.

They should have placed the new part some time after the events of ME3. A smart story writer could have created an entry good for both new and experienced ME players.

"big goal and story is missing. It is not about saving earth before a very powerful enemy anymore"

and that's how they make more money... they'll release DLC to add more goals, add additional side story, and more powerful weapon and enemies..

(and about animations and graphics.. someone will make mods to fix it :-/ )

Pretty sure BioWare will fix those issues as well, especially since a mod can't fix it for console.

"They should have placed the new part some time after the events of ME3"

The game is actually set 600 years after the events of ME3.

I preordered the game and read a view reviews, they aren't all that bad. The one on ars is actually quite positive, although they did criticize the facial engine as well. Critics nagged on part 3 as well (especially the ending) and I loved that one. Can't wait to play this one either.
