You don't say.... Thank you Captain obvious.... That's Why I said "And here I thought my Nexus 6 had some loud sound...." referring to the the fact that if you add the Nexus 6 to the chart it shows it tops out at 75bd and why I did not say "Why is the Nexus 6 not on the list?"... Good thing you're here or I wouldn't know what to do...../S

Wondering that as well. Every review I've read that talked about the XPE's dual front speakers compared them to the HTC One, not any if these phones.

I'm surprised the M9 isn't on the list, which makes me question the validity of it. The Pure could simply be that they haven't reviewed it because of the supply chain issue with Motorola.

Best Speaker in my opinion: - HTC ONE MAX (i have all ONE Smartphones, and the MAX speakers have more stereo effect than the other ONE Series speakers. - Nokia 808: Its fascinating, how crisp and clear the sound is on this incredible piece of Engineering Art.

I am surprised that Nexus 6 is missing in the line up. It produces loud,HiFi audio output. Amazing.

Now if only the people that bought phones for their 'good' speaker, would stop blaring sound/music in public, now that would be nice thing.

The loud speaker is great. The front face stereo speaker is awesome. But when you are in a skype/messenger/viber/etc call and the speaker start ringing because you have a phonecall and it is overwrite the other calls and the speaker which is close to your ear because you use it start ringing with very loud volume directly to your brain is not so much fun... It happened a lot with my HTC m8 so after some I used these voip calls just over speaker or muted the phone ringing volume before but you cannot be always prepared, maybe other companies have some solution like proximity sensor use combined app usage and force the phone using only the lower speaker for ringing... dunno but it can really really hurts trust me.

I give a f**k. Some people (I'm actually not the only one) take advantage of a phones speakers. It might even suprise you that there's a feature that you care about that I don't give a f**k about, like the ability to measure how far the stick up my butt is.

Very weak lineup. The Vivo xplay 3s is still undisputed king by a landslide. You would have to put the htc one 7/8/9 together to match the loudness and fidelity of the xplay 3s.

My old Nokia N95 still trashes 99% of new phones in sound quality.
