Lenovo unveils the Tab S8, a 64-bit 8-inch slate with Intel inside

Lenovo is no stranger to the tablet market, as it has launched a number of slates over the past year or so. Most of these were running on Android, but Lenovo proved that it's not afraid to mess with Microsoft's Windows ecosystem, as well. Well, it seems that Android has scored yet another victory, as the tablet that Lenovo just unveiled is running on Google's mobile OS. Enter the Lenovo Tab S8!...

1080p is more than enough for an 8" tablet, especially if it's only $200...

It'll be (most probably) like $250++ after taxes. Still a good buy, if you don't mind the Windows OS Still, I Wouldn't buy it though

Why? Just wondering, I haven't used a Lenovo before But I've heard they have good business laptops (ThinkPads) and gaming laptops (Y series)

I'm lenovo user here. I want to say, Lenovo sucks at software department. Don't compare their laptop to gadgets. Those are different things.

OF all the laptops we have at my job the Lenovo are the best one's and most durable too. I used to think Lenovo was some cheap Chinese company until I used the laptop at my job, they are very durable and easy to handle. a little heavier than others, but I would prefer a laptop to be heavier with better quality than, crappy and light.

Majority of the phones looks similar to Sony's design, square and oblong. Dam this looks really sexy slate.

Another excellent example of Apple fanboys keeping the propaganda machine rolling. Yes the iPad mini 2 324 ppi is well ahead and always mentioned compared to low class Android tablets. Yet when the 8.4 tabs and the Nexus 10 blow the iPads ppi out of the water it is never even mentioned let alone framed to suck Apple D like the third paragraph of this article is framed.

The iPad Mini 2 costs twice as much as this tablet, so there's no point in comparing them. Bad, PA, bad...

I'm pretty sure they were comparing the newest models from the major manufacturers in that size range. Since Apple only has one newer model in that size range, it had to be listed. If anything, it shows you how much better the Lenovo screen is going to be compared to the overpriced Tab 4 by Samsung. I would definitely look this way if I wanted a capable tablet without spending iPad money to get it. Stop being such a cynic.

Hopefully It will come to Japan. I would replace Lg G Pad 8.3 by this one, I love all its features except the G Pad's terrible speakers though.

Lower cost hardware is what got Android its marketshare and there is nothing wrong with making devices affordable for many wage classes. People don't need the fastest, lightest, and most expensive in this world. Most tech buyers on a world scale are more practical.

I hope Lenovo literally invests into making Motorola tablets and doesn't just rebrand their own designs. That acquisition really scares me and this new release post has me thinking about it even more as time goes on.
