Leaked photos showcase HTC's upcoming hero phone, the 10 (M10?)

This is a HTC smartphone, alright, sporting a chiseled metal body, an arched back, and an overall shape and contour reminiscent of the company's flagship M8 and M9 phones...

I also doubt we'll see lower than f/1.7 on a standard phone. (That doesn't protrude extra and have a large lense) It's not a semiconductor that shrinks every year.

"It's not a semiconductor that shrinks every year." What's not a semiconductor that shrinks every year? The image sensor? The lens diameter? Why would they need to be shrunk? What does that statement even mean? To create a larger aperture they certainly can make the lens diameter larger to accommodate it. As for increasing the pixel size or pixel count or both, this requires a larger image sensor. The limiting factor on how big the image sensor can be depends on how far it needs to be from the lens, how thick the phone body is allowed to be, and how far the lens is allowed to protrude from the body. I don't think the OEMs have reached those limits or know what they are yet until they've tried them out on the market and see what gets accepted.

That's a really nice shape and it has some unique lines. I think that's a good start. Sad they lost stereo speakers, but they fixed so many other things. As long as they use the new Sony sensor, which they will, it should finally be a worthy device.

HTC design lost it's prime striking beauty and elegance. It rather looks like a generic slab with angled edges.

Looks amazing, the back looks a lot like the m7, and there is less bezels, but the lack of boomsound is dissepointing but we'll see if the quality of audio is good or poor

Looks really good (Except for that enormous chamfer). The phone is looks wider. The processor seems to be underclocked. They should get the camera on par with other flagships this year

I like the back, but that's about it. Personally I prefer having the headphone jack at the bottom though. Also, why are the volume buttons the same side as the power button?

Its the same on my moto x play volume and power same side.

It's has a thick body, also has thick side bezels including thickness of metal casing and has bad screen to body ratio despite lack of dual front facing speakers and HTC logo. Main camera doesn't fit rest of the design IMO.

Atleast shrink the bezels OR bring back boomsound.

Sell the phone higher than a G5 or S7 and watch the company crumble.

This is okay, But I think we all got spoiled by that, pre-release, concept design of the M9 that PA displayed a while ago. If you recalled it had that sleek looking where the boom sound speakers were thin strips that ran along the front bottom and top of the Bezels. we where all hoping HTC went along those route. I like the design but to lose those speakers is a shame. they made HTC standout among the other OEMs. again nice to see the HTC logo removed from the bottom bezel. the Capacity buttons gone and a fingerprint scanner added but it could have been better.

Why can't the lock screen time in the right corner disappear? It's terribly redundant and shows a lack of attention to detail. Lg and samsung have become hip to this.
