Apple has released several ads for the Apple iPhone X this year that focused mostly on Face ID. Even ads related to mobile payment feature Apple Pay showed how a transaction could be verified quickly with a glance. Now, Apple has released a new 60-second spot for the A11 Bionic chip! That is a bit unusual because we'd guess that the majority of U.S. consumers have no idea which chipset is employed in the tenth anniversary iPhone model. Apple doesn't usually produce its iPhone ads to phone enthusiasts, so we have to assume that the company thinks that the public will get the message from the use of the word "chip."

The new spot features a young man playing Vainglory 5V5 on his iPhone when the action on the screen bleeds over to real life. While battling the evil creatures from the game, our iPhone totin' hero is unleashing his inner strength to fight back. Why, that is just like game players unleashing the power of the Apple designed A11 Bionic SoC to help them successfully battle these creatures on their phone. And that is why Apple titles the ad "Unleash."

This year, Apple might have released the most entertaining spots since Jimmy Fallon teamed up with Justin Timberlake for the Apple iPhone 6 commercials. And before that, you'd have to go all the way back to the ads for the original Apple iPhone to find such interesting commercials from Apple for its number one product.
