Larger battery coming to Apple iPhone 7 Plus along with 256GB of internal storage?

Slowly, rumors about the Apple iPhone 7 and the Apple iPhone 7 Plus are beginning to help us piece together the various features that will be available on the device. So far, we expect the next iteration of the iPhone to offer some sort of protection from water, and we also expect the 3.5mm earphone jack to be removed. An accessory for the Lightning port will offer a solution for those who want privacy while listening to audio...

Sorry, but the 3.5mm jack isn't out of date. Everyone uses the port, and always will. Unless someone invents a better, more high quality jack. This jack is what some professional audio recorders use, and with all the others (really the majority) using XLR and DMX. It really doesn't matter if the jack is analog. It boasts excellent sound quality, all the way up to FLAC quality.

3.5mm jack isn't out of date! dude...its analog.. its not even digital.. its out of date, and just because everyone uses them doesn't make them not out of date? Look at cable charger there out of date.. wireless charging is the future and the same will happen to the 3.5mm jack its analog, VS a digital jack for example, the standard analog jack would lose out by a mile.

It doesn't matter if it's analog. It still can support amazing sound quality, and after all, isn't that what people want? People still use the PS/2 (analog) port on their computers or whatever it is they use. USB may be faster, but it still isn't as reliable as the "out of date" PS/2 port. We are moving toward a more modern, high quality age. Especially with sound. 320 kbps is becoming the norm, and FLAC audio even will be also. All of this is achieved through the 3.5mm jack and TRS connectors (with 4 rings).

Yes, analog can support amazing sound quality but Digital can support greater sound quality than analog can. And yes we are moving toward a more modern, high quality age, with wireless charging replacing traditional ways of charging and out dated analog jacks being replaced by faster "more reliable" digital jacks.

It's not our of date. Digital music always gets converted to analog when your listen to it. That's how it works.

How about making the 64 GB as the lowest thing apple could offer and the 256 is the highest storage offer?

Yes, Apple should do that instead of being greedy

I'm surprised Apple isn't going with wireless charging in the 7

You may be right, but we won't know until it's unveiled.

wireless charging is still a mess, there are over 12 different standard i believe in which samsung chose to support the 7 biggest standard. Apple will sit back and wait to there is a clear winner to clone and create their own version of.

So you're saying they'll wait to see what everyone else settled on before copying.

I don't see a point to it

Probably because many people won't use it, unless they provide a wireless charger in the box. I don't use wireless charging on my galaxy s6 simply because I don't have the time or will to go and buy a wireless charger. In many instances you can see that Apple's ideology is that they shoudn't load their devices up with features that the consumer won't use or will have a hard time using-unless they can make it easy to use.

Why buy a wireless charger when Samsung gives it out for free? The wireless charging charges super fast too on my note 5.

I didn't get a free wireless charger from Samsung. Probably depends on how you got your phone, in which country, carrier, etc. What I'm saying is that it should be available to everyone and come in the box.

Hell yes! But the logo made me think we could get wood backs too! And more importantly the storage should carry over to iPad, especially the pro, with those ducktard crazy prices!

Wood backs? Lmao, that would look good on a LG phone though. But I agree we need to put that kind of storage on the iPad pro, and completely get rid of the 32GB model.

This will be a good year for all mobile tech. Samsung and LG will bring it. iPhone is shaping up really good. Hope HTC brings something special this year.

Yes, I'm getting more and more interested in wearable technology lately the Samsung gear s3 and the Apple Watch 2 and going to be interesting. I just hope LG keeps the leather, and maybe more colour options like white leather or even black would look awesome.

I don't see 256 GB ROMs becoming a thing this soon. 3 GB of RAM is iffy at best, Apple is usually known for pushing the software limits to the max on its RAM capacity before doing a hardware upgrade. Unless iOS 10 brings some substantial software revisions of course.

With iOS9 running like crap on 2GB of ram now, they may have no choice but to add more. What I am curious about is how the iPhone runs so slow now when the iPhone isn't even pushing as many features and capabilities as most Androids

Cause ios is built for simplicity. And with that. Everything runs smoothly. Unlike android. Which is built for complex. And since there's a problem with apps. Especially on the 64 bit side. Majority of all android devices would face incompatibility issues.

Apart from changing my fonts and icons - there's nothing that you can accomplish on android phone that I can't on iPhone.

Wrong. Back your facts. My runs smooth. Faster then my co workers G4.

Got an iPhone 6s. And it's running fast. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qtBHW5Nn2zIhttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx6XaV2K8Go If that's running like crap, then what would you call the phones that are slower like the nexus 6p and note 5 in those videos.

Why is it they releasing a 256GB model? Simple! They're gonna increase the app size restriction to 4GB. Or even 8! So this year is gonna be good for the apple. Especially on the software part.

I want iPhone 7 plus to come at 3500mah and the iPhone 7 to come at around 2800mah. Surely with the removal of the headphone jack they should be able to increase the battery to this much at least. The headphone jack takes up ALOT of space. But knowing Apple, they'll probably improve the camera or speakers so they can make the device more "compelling". Also Apple need to make they're devices larger I say plus should go 5.8, while the regular one should for 5inch. And a 2k display, Please? If it's got that, then Apple can take my money.
