While I personally like the form factor of phones like the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 for use mostly as a phone, it seems like the market is segmenting into larger more phablet-type devices with high-end specs and smaller more phone-like devices with mid-range or low-end specs. So for a high-end device, 5.5" and QHD makes sense. I would certainly buy such a device at the right price and with an unlocked bootloader. For a smaller device, it would be great of OnePlus took the Z1 Compact as a starting point, and made something like this for $300. Basically a Z2 Compact that people could buy for a reasonable price and was available in the US.

"Man's size screen"? Overcompensate, much? A man-sized screen is whatever size men are using, and it's probably the same size women use. However, say whatever makes you feel more manly. I promise, we are all laughing WITH you.

A man's hand is typically going to be much larger than a woman's, so men should be more comfortable using a device with a larger screen compared to a woman.

:D That was my exact thought when I saw the image. If this phone is available on the 27th of May, i'll finally be upgrading my Galaxy Pro B7510.

Overall, this thing looks fake. There is a tiny hole at the top -- like a 2.0mm headphone jack. And a missing corner of the case -- why? Then on the front, there's a large glowing white light at the bottom of the phone. What's that? Illumination for selfies?

If we dont know what that hole is doesn't mean it's fake. And the glowing thing at the bottom of the front is LG's logo, it looks chrome-ish

The Korean version has an antenna that come out that top hole. Same thing with my G2 case. The tiny hole is the IR blaster. And that white thing is the LG logo.

Thanks for the info. So this may be the Korean version of the G3. That makes more sense for a leaked image anyway.

I have an upgrade in June. If it's packing the S805 and reviews show no issues it'll probably be my next phone.

A lot of people are complaining that 5,5 inch screen is to big! For Asian market 5,5 inch is standard. In a lot of Asian countrys they like smartphones with a 5,7 to 6 inch display. So I think a 5,5 inch flagship of LG isn't that strange!

very disappointed with design , i hoped for something much better than that , guys at Samsung and LG didn't understand that plastic is not fantastic , it is cheap and we are really sick of it .

We are sick of it?? well, I am not sick of it... infact I prefer plastic over aluminum

I think both can and are awesome... It's how it's used that can make either bad.

well i'm not talking about if it is bad or not , I'm talking about design code and about how the phone feel in your hand,

Plastic can be much more functional and sleek-looking if exploited properly. Like the nexus 5. Plus, Polycarbonate used by Nokia can give a Hefty feel. So I have to agree with you.

There is nothing wrong with plastic as long as it is of high quality. Take Nokia for example. They have used plastic on most of their flagships but those phones still feel like premium devices. I do agree that Samsung and LG have used cheap-feeling plastic in the past but it is too premature to say this of the G3 based on this leak. Besides, there is a case covering the phone in this pic.

well i'm not talking about if it is strong or not , I'm talking about design code and about how the phone feel in your hand, regarding that there is a cover on the phone , well that is right , but there are other leaks without cover ;). by the way since Nokia N8 most of Nokia devices and all high end devices made of polycarbonate , they are not using plastic neither HTC or Sony .Well we'll have to wait until the real deal comes out .

It has a case on it, you can barely see what it looks like. As for polycarbonate, it's not neccesarily cheap. Nokia have made some high-quality phones using a polycarbonate unibody design.

New locked to ATT G2 is $465 US. It better not be $600.

Srry I'm a Tmobile person...so I always talk full retail price...not the so called subsidized phones that ATT rips people off for.

Also its $448 at T-Mobile...ur getting ripped off by ATT. U can ask T-Mobile to unlock it after a month of service...ATT will not do that for u.

That's wishful thinking. Comparing no-contract prices from the new iterations of the Galaxy S phone (S5) & the HTC One (M8) from AT&T and T-Mobile: AT&T Galaxy S5: $649.99 HTC One M8: $639.99 T-Mobile Galaxy S5: $660 HTC One M8: $636 The LG G3 will NOT retail at $600 max. It will definitely be over $600.

I know...let me dream :P Its probably be around S5..if not lower by a couple georges. But LG might take more for the so dazzling QHD, but don't fall for that....it'll be standard in a couple months...dont pay more for that.

Dream away :D That's what I was thinking too (QHD = more $). But man, I can't wait any longer. I've had a Galaxy PRO B7510 for 3 years now. If this phone is available on the same day it launches, i'm getting it.
