We first heard of the VX8360 a few months ago, and have been waiting to see when it would finally come out. There is still no official date, but the release of the VX8360 is dependent on the stock clearing out of the aging VX8350. It has also made an appearance in Verizon's Equipment Guide, which shows a price of $49.99 after $50 rebate with 2-year contract, or $119.99 with a 1-year. But since it includes the new Dashboard program, it can only be activated on Nationwide calling plans (not older America's Choice). Features include a 1.3MP camera, QVGA display, VCast Music with Rhapsody, VZ Navigator, 950mAh battery, and supports microSDHC cards up to 8GB. (Why not 16GB?) We hope this model of the VX83xx series has better build quality and performance than we experienced with the VX8350 we reviewed in 2007.
