LG has released a new promotional video for the LG V30. The video is about a little boy named Jack Davis, who loves video games and wants to protect the earth from aliens. So Jack applies for one of NASA's planetary protection jobs. Being a little boy, Jack did not get the job and all of those hours spent watching space and alien movies appeared to have been for naught. The father notes that he got a chance to see the aliens before his son, thanks to the LG V30. The latter comes out of the box with support for Google's VR platform, Daydream.

Using a Daydream View headset, Jack's Dad viewed an alien landing thanks to the use of VR. The experience was so immersive, that when the creature from another planet used some sort of round hoverboard to fly right at him, the Dad reacted as though what he was viewing was really happening in front of his face.

So thanks to the VR capabilities of the LG V30, Jack's father now has a better understanding of his son's dreams. Perhaps with this parental support, Jack grows up to become a member of NASA's planetary protection team, and saves the world from interplanetary disaster.
