Damn. This is a crazy time to be in search of a new smartphone. Buyer's remorse no matter what you choose.

I feel exactly the opposite. This is the first phone of 2015 even worth considering. This one is nice--the others are so bad I worry what I would have to do if my existing phone broke. I don't like to compromise and everything else is a huge compromise. This one apparently does lack a fingerprint scanner and IR, so it's not perfect, but it's far better than most the junk released in 2015.

Actually it does have a fingerprint scanner. Not sure about the IR blaster, though.

i really like the idea of having shortcuts always at reach. I mainly use 4 different apps all day long so saving me a second or 2 every time i want to switch would add up every single day. Now the thing is I probably would never buy a LG phone, They don't really make me googly eyes, IF i am going spend $500 bucks for something that i use all day every day it needs to make me excited

There is an alternative to quick shortcut like gestures or sidebar... I just don't like that it become kind of useless bezel when you don't use it.

This phone looks great! I can definitely see a few uses for the secondary screen. Bravo, LG!

Seems like a Widget on a Amoled screen Could do the same thing. Rather have Front facing speakers with a Amoled display.

Why are people worrying about the chipset? The phones with SD 808 has already proved that it works absolutely perfectly! This is a great phone. Removable battery, SD card slot, 64GB built in, 4GB RAM and the best camera on board. It just cannot get any better. Thanks LG!

The chipset has DDR3 RAM not DDR4 RAM, the 4gb in here isn't the same thing as the other phones.

You have a point but honestly you need ddr4 on a cell phone right now? i think is a good device we don't need ddr4 or better graphics processor

you wont notice any difference in graphic performance due to aggressive throttling of Adreno430 in sd810. 808 is better in sustained performace. Also, you wont notice any performance difference in ddr3 and ddr4 Ram in real life

Yep, you won't. you'd rather have better display(amoled) or better design.

ddr3 and ddr 4 really? Come on tell me this difference it makes in the performance? Is it really noticeable? Nope.

Isn't showing Europe on that list and Samsung already refused to release Note 5 in Europe so things are looking bad.

S820 comes in mid-2016, inform yourself a little and do not ask stupid comments, like most here

Sexy phone. I love the dark blue color. Plus it has a Micro SD slot, that could edge it out from the Nexus 6P in my personal opinion. But I want to hear the price and more about the camera performance before I make up my mind. Those could be deal-breakers.
