LG Optimus Vu to be a 5" behemoth with 4:3 screen aspect ratio, Galaxy Note slightly startled

0. phoneArena posted on 08 Feb 2012, 01:58

The LG Optimus Vu is supposed to feature a 5" IPS-LCD display with alleged 1024x768 pixels of resolution. Yes, you also read that right - the phone is going to sport 4:3 screen aspect ratio for some reason, just like AT&T's Pantech Pocket...

the aspect ratio makes it very difficult to be handled with one hand. I'll be keeping my galaxy note. the X3 on the other hand seems interesting.

I have to say oooohh!!
But I like your spirit LG,unlike some OEM like BB..uninspiring,stubbornly identical even after god knows how many years & then again dish out crappiest spec sheet to buyers to nmake them feel more ungrateful...........!!!
Samsung: Plethora of spin-offs after something becmes a hit!.Focuses on cloning the flagship with a few alterations, trying desperately to declare that they have a range ..........Yawn!
Seriously get some designers on the R&D team!!!......
Think phone=WOW!! & you will hit the bulls eye since our eyes are sore after looking at all of your slabs!!
LG: Take a look around, wake up kick yourself, punch the walls do what it takes to deserve the crown...if thats what you are eyeing for....& mostly look at delivering timely updates for your forgotten phones along with customers or you will be licking wounds in this tech wars after every showdown.
or else you will be remebered.....LG( LOST FOR GOOD)!!

meh. Not digging the 1024x768 resolution on a screen that size.. nor the 4:3 ratio.

I'd definitely go for the Note.

this ratio has much good sides on its account, just think of the possabilities!! I like LG, I don't like samsung, the mobile world has become iPhone vs Samsung, not android vs iOS...there are good androids besides samsung you know...don't be narrowvieved...this thing just might be good

Honestly it looks like a really bad Chinese iPod touch knock off that you'd find on the interenet for $50.
( just from that spy shot of it anyways)

Lg is giving me reason to hold on from buying the G Note. This is worth waiting, i guess. This is beauty.
