How much of an upgrade is it, compared to last year's Android poster child, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus? and how does it stack up against the most popular Android high-end now, the Galaxy S III?...

It comes down to which carrier you're on. If you're on VZW, the GS3. If you're on a GSM carrier, the Nexus 4.

I don't like the SAR values of LG NEus 4 that much. But ofcourse Headphones are the Alternate Method. :)

No LTE and no Verizon? The LG can't win a race it forgot to show up for. Who would buy a phone (or use a carrier) that doesn't support LTE at the end of 2012? I can understand making some sacrifices for a reference phone, such as no SD card or even GSM only, but a lack of LTE makes the LG a blast from the past. No thanks. I'll go with the Note 2 and have the best phone and the best carrier. I can ROM it if I want 4.2.

But right now LTE is not available in all the countries. Don't just limit yourself to the US, Canada or a few other countries that have LTE. This phone is for everyone and at an affordable price too. Google wants to reach out to everyone who has just about enough cash to buy a smartphone that is priced like a cheap phone but has awesome specs and will be among the first devices to receive updates. And also LTE limits you to carrier burden and HSPA+ does not. Also it has HSPA+ 42 (DC-HSPA) which is comparable to LTE. So I believe that this phone is gonna be "THE PHONE OF THE YEAR" as it's price is an absolute steal for the specs. I'll buy one when it's available again. Nexus 4 Rocks!!!

P.S.: Note 2 is an awesome device too but if you compare the unlocked price of both, then definitely Nexus 4 has more Value For Money and it's for everyone.

CM10 gives my Galaxy Nexus the ability to quickly make the buttons on the bottom the screen disappear when I hold the power button and turn on "Expanded Desktop". Then I'm browsing with the entire 4.65 inches.

you folks have two problems: one, you are so hung up on specs that you aren't paying attention to use in real life: the s3 is far better in every way. two, you need to get a life, and stop spending all your time posting about stupid phone comparisons, jeeeeez
