LG Neon lights up at AT&T
With all the attention placed on high-end smartphones this weekend, it is nice to see a new messaging device get some shelf space at a carrier. AT&T is now offering the LG Neon, a side slider with a QWERTY keyboard and a 2.4 inch touchscreen display. A 2.0MP camera will also capture video and and memory can be expanded as much as 4GB with a microSD slot. Helping the user stay in touch, the handset has IM capabilities along with support for sending and receiving email.

Despite all of these features, the model will not bust your budget. Available in green, the LG Neon costs $29.99 after a $50 dollar mail-in-rebate and your signature on a two year contract. The off contract price, for those of you asking, is $299.99.

even though i think this phone is tageted to the younger generation; i still think that just having the touchscreen limited to dialing is just silly.
