The G4 wasn't much cheaper than the GS6 here. Pretty much the same on release.

"But while handsets such as the LG G4 and LG V10 do stand out with their sheer uniqueness, they fail to accomplish the same on the market itself." How can such a claim be made about the LG V10 (....fail to accomplish the same on the market itself) when it JUST got released in Korea only?

The LG V10 was just released by T-Mobile yesterday, so it is now available in the US market (at least through T-Mobile). But you are right, since it just came out it is a little too soon to make a claim like that.

They should of improve off the G2. Instead of higher resolution battery eating screen. The G3 was prone to over heating and lagging. Then G4 offer a extra battery and SD card to improve the sales. Sounds like it really didn't help.

G3 was their best selling phone

+1. I remember getting a G3 some time ago, and it was an awful experience. It kept lagging and overheating. Maybe if they tackled that with their awful UI, they would actually have a decent phone instead of the G3 and G4.

LG has a boring line of smartphones. The only devices to get excited about is the flagships, their mid-range and low-end range is uninspiring. But that just my personal opinion.

Seems like removable battery and external storage doesn't help much. LG's mid-range end low end phones sucks. Except flagships their phones doesn't worth to mention it. If they couldn't be able to make a decent mid-range or low-end phone they shouldn't release them at all. Their flagship launch timing is wrong. Mid year is too late. Also their flagships isn't attractive enough for several reasons. Ditch LCD for flagships. Design it with exceptional screen to body ratio and slim side bezels, build it with metal, put in it a really LARGE battery and keep thickness under control. Basically modern day G2. Also ditch 16/32GB storage to make difference, price it wisely. For example 142 x 72 x 7 mm dimensions for a 5.5 inch display and 4000mAh battery should be entirely possible with OLED displays and today's state of the art batteries.

LG needs to go back to their chic Prada phone type designs. I understand those types of designs don't work for Sony anymore either but LG has better mindshare and design was one of their strengths. But both Moto and LG make ugly and fat tank like phones now. That just doesn't fly in the Asian markets.

More LG Optimus G own designs and less Galaxy S3 copying. That pebble weird round device stuff only works once or twice and probably only works on the Nexus devices.

Life is definitely good Josephine! They still made a profit. And they still bring in more money in one quarter than you will ever see in a lifetime. And they still make better products than your beloved Apple who has fans like you suckered into buying mediocre software and hardware that's about 3 years behind the competition.
