It's definitely not DOA. It might not have the SD 832, but the SD 821 is definitely up to the job especially since other flagships still use and have proven it's worth. Like the Pixels, which can not only drive a QHD display, but can drive it at a sustainable 60 fps (Daydream VR). This LG G6 can show more information in split screen mode. Other reviews stated that it's a flagship worth getting.

Not at all, there some countries in Europe that won't get the G6.

The stupidest launch of a flagship in a while. Why did they bother getting it out before the S8 if they were going to wait forever to make it available in most markets? I saw the S8 long before the G6 was up for pre-order and that's a waste of a good advantage.

Announced a month before the S8, released on the same day as the S8.
LG gotta be LG.

Even though many would call or consider me a Samsung Fanboy or perhaps Samsung FanMan (As your GreenMan is an OldMan hence a FanMan, eh?). I still think that The G6 is miles better than The Samsung S8...

There's less bloatware on The G6, the screen is not curved, the finger print scanner is located exactly where its supposed to be, and the incredibly wide angle you get from the dual cameras is just impressive... Not only that, The LG G6 feels more like, shall I say, a finished product.

The FP Scanner on The S8 seems like an afterthought, and I can say the very same thing about the Bixby button. Samsung has, without a shed of doubt, rushed this phone to the market... Need more proof...? The Bixby is half baked and so is the "Dex" feature...!

LG, on the other hand, feels more like a well thought out smartphone... And what else, it's a tad cheaper too and possess a slightly bigger battery...!

My nod goes to The G6...!

And...

G'Day!

The quad DAC is suppose to be there for European customers. But yeah you don't have wireless charging. Only Korean, North America, and some other countries will get the wireless charging.

No Quad DAC in Europe either. Quad DAC is exclusive to the Asian market. However recently these handsets (64 GB and Quad DAC) have been offered for sale in Australia. So maybe LG is offering them for wider release.
