LG G4 vs Galaxy S6: the user experience

Well, folks – it has been a bling-filled year, if nothing else, as many manufacturers chose to not only pack cutting-edge hardware in their flagships, but dress them appropriately as the luxury items that modern consumers perceive them to be. Two of the most noteworthy design choices of 2015 are Samsung's decision to go extra-classy with the metal body sandwiched between two Gorilla Glass 4 slabs for its Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, and LG's response with not doing the same, but going for a genuine leather back and a slightly curved profile on the G4 instead.

QSlide apps can be minimised to a size of an icon and it aslo has transparency slider (which is rarely useful, but it's there). I don't know what apps Samsungs multi window supports but Dual window on my G2 supports all the apps I have installed (50-60 both first and third party). And it is strange they didn't mention Samsung Pay as a advantage for S6.

@paul.k Rather just long press the recent apps button on any multitaskable screen and you can have 2 apps open. And then if you want to float it, it's always possible

Not in my case . .. i am not a proffessional photographer to keep using manual modes .. The modes are useful who use the phones camera for quick snaps

I went from Samsung to LG and now I'm going for the 6P. Samsung was ok but I wanted to try something else and I wanted to retain the SD and removable battery (I guess I just said f-it with the 6P) I also wanted to get rid of the home button so badly (I hated that thing). I liked my G4 but I didn't love it. The screen is worse than my S4's (look angle wise) and it was just kind of boring. I wish the Nexus phones would have come out in June instead of October, I might have opted for the 6P sooner.

Unfortunately Nexus 6P has the worst build quality and it's not as fast as note 5 even tho with 6.0. https://youtu.be/r3cWVdLqXCghttps://youtu.be/1yiCmvgdjWw

C'mon man, YouTube speed tests are about as reliable as a third party SD card bought from e-bay. Look, and you'll find speed tests that say the opposite. https://youtu.be/uRVVn9JKHxw For example. You won't find any appreciable difference speed wise between the two in day to day usage.

Lol. Yeah nexus 6p better on multitasking, but not as fast as note 5 when it comes to open apps.

The funny thing is that we are giving a choice to fight over what phone and maker is better. You like Samsung and i like LG! But really does that make one better than the other? It is all about what we prefer to use as our daily driver. So instead of us fighting over who has the better phone, let's start discussing who writes the better review! One thing that you must understand is if we turn the attention to the writers and not the product then we'll get a more in-depth review. Just because they don't like something they are always on the search for like minded people to make them feel better about what it is they like. So if someone is a creative writer start a blog or YouTube video about which review is better and then you'll get the complete truth. Then that way your not left with question of would you like an apple or an orange? No b....! I want a peach!

Lg make the best value high end smart phones. G4 is half price of most high end phones here in the UK. This makes it a much better phone for me.

G4 is a great device, S6's RAM issue is a mess
