For some it is 2600+ mAh...location dependent and that kind of sucks.

Yeah, but that 2600+ mAh battery is removable and allows you to have an SD Card.

This is the fear I have with this phone. Great specs, but if LG doesn't update it, it will quickly fall behind other flagships in the future.

Updates are usually dependant on the carrier and if they need it to fix bugs. LG's quality has improved quite a bit. Jelly Bean has been very stable.

Agreed. My phone update was promised by LG management

They promise just to sell their current model and when that model faint so does their promise.

Their good point is they are normally cheaper compare to Samsung equivalent spec.

This G2 is not my cup of tea due to the lack of microSD and removable battery. Extra battery is handy when i need to stay outside for more than 12 hours.

Look up the Monoprice 5000mAh external battery. Buy it directly from Monoprice, not amazon ($28 vs $40).

When your phone gets low, plug it into the external battery and let it charge in your pocket. It should be good for 1 1/2 charges which is 50% more than you'd get with just a battery.

That said, the other battery would be 100% immediately, but this is at least another option.

LG Optimus G did sell for competing against the Note II, GS3, and One X.

You make Samsung users look bad.

Probably similar specs as G2 but with a tasty Key Lime Pie.

woot!i want to see this become the nexus 5!!without the back located buttons tho...And i tend to disagree with this "it wont get updated" business. What you guys are basically saying is that LG won't update any of its phones. I would think they would update the flagship atleast...

The 13mp sensor with ois doesn't sound like anything that special. Htc 8mp cameras with the image chip, variable flash, & low light BSI lenses f 2.0 aperture look more impressive (like on the One S I just scored a great deal on) . Lg doesn't even mention the aperture of the lenses. Point is for this being there "Flagship" It doesn't sound that special in the camera department.

My thing is with all LG brand devices on sprint the antennas are horrible just like any samsung HTC or moto for sprint are great for signal. Just hope they improved that feature as well as the GS4 not sure what to get. It also bothers me why they keep not supporting SD for all these great things the devices do like hd videos and downloads not much room to work with as well as games.

Did i really see people complain about updates making this phone fall behind. First off 4.2 is up to date as you can be, 4.3 just came out and all it does is improve performance. IDK bout you but i have a feeling this phone won't lack in performance with 4.2 on board. You people are crazy... this phone won't fall behind anything for many years. It's pretty much the first of it's kind in the US. So stop bashing LG. Samsung keeps their phones updated but the galaxies still lag like a bawse? So that argument is just dead.
