LG Canada recalls the LG 150

LG Canada recalls the LG 150
LG had to recall 45,000 units of the LG150 in Canada. The reason is that the device misses the standards for radio frequency exposure. Here’s an excerpt of the official explanation:

“The LG 150 mobile phone is no longer certified as meeting the Radio Standards Specifications 102 (RSS 102), Radio Frequency Exposure Compliance of Radiocommunication Apparatus.”

The list of the carriers that have been selling the device is also not that short, including Bell Mobility, Virgin Mobile, MTS Allstream, SaskTel, Aliant Mobility, KMTS, NorthernTel, Sogetel, Télébec and TBayTel. Those of you that have bought the phone from one of these carriers can return their phone to the stores and have it replaced at no cost until March.
