Report: LG's 2018 flagship to feature 6.1-inch screen, SD-845 inside; June launch possible

According to a report published today, LG's delayed flagship phone could be launched in June. An anonymous source, who was briefed on LG's plans to release a phone with the code name "Judy," says that the handset will feature a 6.1-inch screen. This will be a new type of display called MLCD+. Thanks to a white sub-pixel that will be part of the RGBW matrix, the display will be very bright (in the 800-nit range) and still consume 35% less energy than a typical IPS LCD screen...

My G5 has pretty terrible UI burn in. I actually sent it in for a replacement. I actually had to get it looked at again because they tried to fix something that wasn't even the issue. Battery life at this point is pretty meh. Camera lens are scratched a bit. Glass has held up very well. Barely a scratch.

I can't believe that they will get back to LCD display. It won't be suitable with daydream. Also 4/64GB memory configuration sounds a little bit 2017. Maybe they will have 2 devices. One with this configuration and one with OLED and 6/128GB (like Huawai mate 10 and 10Pro).

"Also 4/64GB memory configuration sounds a little bit 2017" Sounds like 2015 to me.

Dont forget that it is just a RUMOR. There are nearly 4 months. 4 GB is a mistake (Ex.Rumored Galaxy S9) Probably Plus model will have 6 GB ram. MLCD+ on the cheap version(?) Anyway I dont think that LG does a mistake again.

If the bezels are non-existent, the new 6.1" flagship will probably have the size of the 5.7" G6. Hopefully !

Not a chance. V30 has no bezels on the sides and it's very wide.

The panel on the used for G5(one of its biggest issues) is pretty a flawed. The burn in is pretty pronounced from the UI. I'm still using the G5 and other phones definitely look incredibly impressive, but I just have not cared enough to buy any of the recent releases. The V30 is pretty incredible accomplishment for LG. They definitely tried. I definitely think they bested apples latest in aesthetics and function.
